Freelance Queens first birthday party at Nando’s Old Street.

After hearing about our network, womxn from the Nando's team were super keen to connect, support us and be a part of our journey. They offered to host a tailor made dinner to celebrate our first birthday.

​

They provided personalised menus, prosecco on arrival, unlimited food and drink for a sit down dinner with 100 Freelance Queens from all creative sectors.

​

A celebratory environment with the opportunity to meet Amanda Maxwell and to understand the journey of freelance Queens so far and to bring more Queens from within the network together. We were able to discuss the community and cultural work that Nandos do and that they do not feel the need to advertise. It was also a great opportunity for the Nandos team to meet more freelancers who could lend their skills and talent to activations they may need Freelance staff for.
